MANTANANI BEACH RESORT
Mantanani Island is located in the South China Sea about 48km from the town of Kota Belud. The boats leave from Kuala Abai Jetty which is 10km from Kota Belud town.
Mantanani Island is divided into Mantanani Kecil(small) and Mantanani Besar(big). The island is well known in China as Mermaid Island.
The island was made famous worldwide by the Dugongs that inhabited the waters around the Island. They are gentle creatures also known as sea cows and feed on the beds of sea grass. They have since moved away but once the sea grass beds have grown again they will come back.
Large pods of dolphins are frequently spotted in the clear sea around Mantanani.
Crystal clear sea, white sandy beaches and an abundance of colourful marine life add to this Island popularity.
We are the only operator located in a coconut graze in the Mantanani Bay with the breathtaking views of the different shades of the sea with a white pristine sand beach.

Tour Itinerary
0700hrs
Pick up from Hotel and depart to Kota Belud Town. Mantanani Islands are a group of three isolated islands located northwest of Kota Belud, about 1-1 ½hours drive from the state capital of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu.
0930hrs
Arrive at our Jetty located at Kuala Abai and depart to Mantanani Island. These islands are approximately 60 minutes to 1 hour boat ride from Kuala Abai Jetty.
1030hrs
Arrive at Mantanani Bay Resort and proceed to snorkeling trip.
1230hrs
Back to island shower & Buffet Lunch.
1430hrs
Ready depart back to Kuala Abai Jetty.

Arrive Jetty.
